New GemRayX is an upgraded version of GemRay that incorporates a head shadow. Why is head shadow important? Unless you have light bulbs on your face, light rays that enter the stone from directly overhead cannot contribute to a stone's brightness. GemRayX includes head shadow. It also includes a dispersion metric. GemFramX is a front-end for GemRayX and works like GemFrame in the GemRay package above. |
